Ada Jane
Ada Jane (formerly the Matt Marka Band) is the latest manifestation of the musical efforts of Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter Matt Marka. The band also includes Charlie Wilson (drums) and John Taillon (bass), all of who found each other through the community of musicians that gathers around Minneapolis' 400 Bar.
Rebecca Nurse
What makes this band so special? Snot-nosed-post-punk/pop-retro 80's bands abound. So why Rebecca Nurse? The answer may be that Rebecca Nurse is none of the above and all of the above, and then some - all at once. The closer you listen, the more you realize, if not recognize, the depth of their influences. And listen you will, as the band demands your attention.

FEATURED ARTIST: BREECH
Vocalist Missy Gibson, former resident of Detroit, is the nucleus of the compelling sound of Breech, a band Gibson had put together after moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 1996. In fact, within a year of moving to the West Coast, she signed a publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing and has released a self-titled EP produced by Matt Thorne (credits: The Eels, Plastilina Mosh and Skeleton Key).

FEATURED TRACK: 10,000 YEARS

Welcome to 10,000 Years--The Honeydogs’ ambitious, sweeping epic on Michael Penn and Aimee Mann’s United Musicians label. 10,000 Years employs expert musicianship, a pan-genre stylistic palette and uncannily graceful melodicism to create a powerful soundscape across which an often blood-chilling scenario plays out with cinematic scope and immediacy.
